Realizing Faith will be offering a one day Spirital Leadership Workshop on October 26, 2011.
The Seminar Series is designed to offer personal feedback and provide participants with the skills to understand how personal values shape belief systems and the tools to identify and communicate with those values in conversation.
Participants will become aware of their personal values hierarchy and how what they value has shaped their understanding of God, Christian mission, and Bible Interpretation. Participants will immediately begin to practice hearing the values of other believers as they work in assigned small groups throughout the seminar. The practical application of several academic theories will enhance understanding of the interpretive methods at work within their ministries and provide them with the necessary tools and skills to effectively lead their congregants/students.

The foundation for the Realizing Faith Seminar is the conviction that the North American Christian faith community (Mainline, Protestant, and Evangelical) has not provided the tools and training necessary to effectively enable their parishioners to speak with confidence and conviction about their faith. There are many reasons why the Church is struggling to meet the needs of modern believers but there can be no option for ignoring the evidence of generational trends and cultural influences at work within the Church.
The REALIZING FAITH Seminar is “issue-centered” and focused on real world needs. The presentation of the material is offered in a logical, understandable, and useable format. The seminar goal is to be objective and descriptive of the individual values and how they shape belief systems. The seminar is not subjective nor is it judgmental of any belief system.
Do you understand the “why” of your behaviours? Do you know “why” you have reached the conclusions you have? Can you explain your conclusion to someone else? Can you hear their “why”?
Why do you go to church?
To learn, to fellowship, to lead others, to experience, to follow tradition
Why do you read the Bible?
For guidance, for strength/comfort, for advice
Why do you pray?
To communicate, to present needs, to support others, to be empowered
Why do you participate in missions?
To help others, to bring others to faith, to teach others, to improve living conditions
Most people of faith can answer these questions with conviction but what if they are challenged by the answer of another believer?
Additional Topics of the Seminar:

Seminar Capacity: Min 10 people, Max 20 people
Designed to give personal and individual feedback to the participants, the intensive REALIZING FAITH Seminar is a tremendous investment for any church leadership team. Participants learn their “passionate” motivators and how to hear the values of others.
This format allows time for one-on-one debriefing of reports, role-playing exercises, and discussion on specific church communication and faith issues.
Seminar Capacity: Min 20 people, Max 75 people
Designed to give personal feedback to the participants, the personalized REALIZING FAITH Seminar provides the environment for personal and professional growth as individuals learn about their personal motivators and how they are developing their belief systems.
Each individual receives a personalized Values Assessment report which, when combined with the teaching materials, answers the “why” of their behaviours.
Seminar Capacity: 75+ people
Designed to give broad information to all participants, the generalized REALIZING FAITH Seminar provides an arena of learning that will enhance self-motivation. Motivate the individuals in your group or congregation to understand the importance of knowing the “why” aspects of their belief system.
Each individual receives a Seminar booklet outlining the teaching materials and offers the option of a personalized Values Assessment at the request of the participant.
TO DISCOVER: to bring to light what was already there but previously unknown. The individual results of our “Motivations” analysis uncovers your dominant values. Your values motivate you to take specific action.
When you uncover your dominant motivators you discover your filter: the window through which you view the world and seek fulfillment in your life.

Our seminars teach how motivators affect an individual’s interpretation of all aspects of their life including their study of the bible and the development of their faith.
TO RECOGNIZE: to identify, acknowledge. Your dominant motivators naturally lead you to interpretive preferences when reading the bible.
The seminar teaches you to hear and recognize other motivators using the GAUGE© tool: locate yourself in order to locate others.
TO REALIZE: to appreciate, make real, accomplish, fulfill, achieve, understand.
When you are prepared to “hear” the motivators of others (identify and acknowledge), there is a comfort level to share your faith without coercion or compromise.
