BIOGRAPHY

Since 2002, Jennifer M. Shepherd, PhD has taught Religious Studies courses at the University and College level in adjunct faculty positions (Trinity Western University, Columbia Bible College, Masters College and Seminary).  Concurrently, she worked as AGM of Operations for Carina Sports Group Inc. (2006-2010) overseeing the HR for 50+ employees. 

Her broad educational and HR training combined with her specialized focus on biblical studies and interpretive methods have led her to launch the unique seminars and speaking topics that ENGAGE Consulting offers to “enable people of faith to engage others in meaningful discussions about their faith”.  Her personal experiences in both academic and business circles have led her to conclude that when people uncover their values (motivators) and connect those values to the development of their beliefs (interpretation) they are then able to engage others in thoughtful, sophisticated discussions about life.

Jennifer is an avid golfer and hockey player.  Her favorite golf course is Troon North in Scottsdale, AZ.  Having grown up in Ontario, she still bleeds the blue and white (Maple Leafs) but after living in Vancouver for the past 12 years, she has become a faithful Canucks fan.
